Macro Life

Macro Life

Things to do - general

Macro is all about an apprication of the smaller marine life you can find and is particularly interesting to those with a keen passion for underwater photography.

Macro means ‘large-scale’ but in diving it refers to the lense you would use to photograph these critters. A macro lense is used to photograph these incredible animals, bringing them to life like they are giant aliens!

Macro life is varied and has an incredible biodiversity, from the famous neon Nudibranchs and Ghostpipefish to the weird and wonderful Hairy Frogfish. If you have an interest in Macro you will always be finding new species to hunt out and photograph, it will also take you to some of the most amazing diving locations in the world.
